you always have one last resort.

"You always have one last resort. When nothing else works, surrender to God, and let your faith carry you through."

Surrender is such a difficult word. It speaks of absolute faith. Fearlessness. Courage. In surrendering, we have to let go of our doubts, let go of our fears. Most of all, we have to let go of control. And that is perhaps one of the most difficult things that a person can do. But amidst all the chaos in this world, we must come to realize that whatever control we thought we had is not real. As every thing that we have in this world has been given freely to us with love, it all can just as easily be taken away. Nothing belongs to us. Everything that we have, we have because God loves us. And that is the most important thing that we have to hold on to. God loves us. He gave everything to us not because we love Him, but because He loves us. That should give us the courage that we need, the faith that we must have, to let go, to surrender, to let God love us and take care of us. To have peace.
